สุภาษิต 21–25 โอบอ้อมอารีต่อเพื่อนบ้านและปฏิบัติ
ความยุติธรรม หากสุภาษติ เป็นเพียงการพูดซ้ําตามคําสอนทัว่ ไปในหนังสือโลก ก็อาจไมม่ ีความ จําเป็นต้องอ่านสุภาษติ เลย แต่สิ่งที่ทําให้สุภาษติ แตกต่างคือ ปั ญญาและ มาตรฐานของคนชอบธรรมที่กล่าวถึงนั้น มีพ้ืนฐานอยทู่ ี่ “การยําเกรงพระเจ้า ” สุภาษติ บทที่ 21 ถึง 25 แสดงให้เราเห็นอย่างชัดเจนว่า พระเจ้า ทรงต้องการสิ่งใด และปั ญญาที่พระองค์ทรงพอพระทัยคืออะไร พระองค์ทรงยินดีเม่ือมนุษยด์ ําเนิน ชีวิตอย่างชอบธรรมและยุติธรรม (21:3) และทรงปกป้ องผู้ที่ถูกกดขี่ (22:23) พระลักษณะเหล่านี้ให้บทเรียนลึกซ้ึงกับเราทุกคนในปั จจุบัน จะเป็นอย่างไรหาก เราเริ่มต้นจากการพูดกับเพ่ือนบ้านด้วยถ้อยคําอ่อนโยน?
