ควรเทิดทูน สดุดีกล่าวด้วยสายตาที่แน่วแน่ว่า แท้จริงแล้วพระพรที่เราควรแสวงหาคืออะไร พระพรที่สดุดีกล่าวถึงคือการยําเกรงพระเจ้าและปี ติในพระบัญญัติของพระองค์ (สดุดี 112) สดุดีหกบทตัง้ แต่ 110 ถึง 115 สรรเสริญพระเจ้าผู้ทรงยิ่งใหญ่ ผู้ทรง ควรได้รับการสรรเสริญชัว่ นิรันดร์แต่เพียงพระองค์เดียว ไม่ใช่เราที่ควรได้รับ เกียรติ แต่เป็นพระเจ้าต่างหาก (สดุดี 115) เราควรสรรเสริญพระนามของ พระองค์เป็นนิตย์ มนุษย์ทุกคนล้วนอยากได้รับพระพร อยากให้ช่ือของตน รุ่งเรือง แต่สดุดีหกบทนี้ร้องเพลงถึงชีวิตที่เราควรดําเนิน ขอใหเ้ ราร่วมกับผู้เขียน สดุดีประกาศว่า “ตัง้ แต่นี้ไปจนชัว่ นิรันดร์ จงสรรเสริญพระนามของพระยาหเ์ วห์ เถิด” (สดุดี 113:1)
