창세기 41~45장 복의 통로가 된 요셉

바로가 괴상한 꿈을 꾸었는데 아무도 그 꿈을 해석하지 못합니다. 마침 감옥에서 풀려난 술 맡 은 관원이 자기 꿈을 해석했던 요셉을 떠올리고 바로에게 천거합니다. 요셉은 바로의 꿈을 해석 합니다. 그 꿈은 7년간 풍년이 이어지고 그 후 7년간 기근이 이어진다는 내용이었습니다. 대비책을 제안한 요셉은 애굽 총리가 됩니다. 실제로 기근이 들자 가나안 땅에 거주하던 야곱이 식량을 구하기 위해 아들들을 애굽에 보내고, 의도치 않게 요셉은 형들과 재회합니다. 예전과는 달라진 형들을 확인한 요셉은 형들에게 자기 정체를 밝히고 아버지를 모셔 오라고 부탁합니다. 이렇게 요셉은 많은 이들의 생명을 구하며 복의 통로가 됩니다.
