Mercy Reveals Our Need
Today’s meditation brings us to mercy reveals our need through the gospel. This truth reaches the way we see God, ourselves, and the people around us.
Sin pulls the self into the center. We want control, approval, comfort, and a life that follows our plan more than the glory and will of God.
Christ came to rescue us from ourselves. He bears our sin, becomes our righteousness, and gives the Spirit so that we may walk in a new way.
So today, do not let this truth remain a correct sentence. Bring your heart to God, confess what he exposes, and depend on Christ for one step of faithful obedience.
Prayer
Father, praise you for your glory and grace. Forgive my self-centeredness and fear. Thank you for Christ, my righteousness and hope. Holy Spirit, lead this truth into humble obedience today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
