The Story

Today’s meditation brings us to this truth: The grace that calls us also strengthens the hands it sends. This is not a light religious idea, but a gospel truth that speaks to the way we actually live before God. Sin often teaches us to look at the surface first. We defend ourselves, explain ourselves, or chase what feels easier. But the Father lovingly leads us deeper, showing us what our hearts love, fear, and trust. Christ meets us at that deeper place. He did not come merely to improve our behavior, but to forgive our guilt, expose our idols, rule our hearts, and make us new by the power of the Holy Spirit. So today, do not settle for a quick religious feeling. Bring your heart honestly before the Lord, repent where his Word exposes you, and depend on the grace of Christ for obedient faith in the ordinary places of life. Prayer Father, praise you for your mercy and faithfulness. Forgive my sin and teach me to depend on Christ today. Thank you for Jesus, who is my Savior and hope. Holy Spirit, help me trust, repent, obey, and walk in grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
