The Story

We live in a world where evil is still real. Injustice, deception, and pain around us are not small matters. Yet the problem is not only outside us; sin remains inside us too. We need more than escape from bad surroundings. We need a Savior who cleanses the heart. External evil would not attract us if there were no sin within us responding to it. Jesus Christ has conquered sin and death, and he continues to purify us. Growth in holiness is not a single event, but a lifelong journey of grace until sin is no more. Do not be surprised that you still must fight. But do not give up as if you had no Helper. The Spirit opens our eyes, warns our hearts, strengthens us, and makes Christ's victory visible in ordinary life. Prayer Holy Father, I praise you because you do not leave your children in evil, but cleanse and protect them by grace. Forgive me for blaming only what is outside me while refusing to see the sin still within. Thank you for Jesus Christ, who conquered sin and death. Holy Spirit, purify my heart and make me stand firm today. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
