The Story

God cares for his children in many ways. One way is by placing brothers and sisters in our lives. We are not called to walk alone, but to belong to a family God uses for grace. We often treat relationships as if they belong to us. We want people to make us happy, understand us, and not disturb us. But relationships belong to God, and he uses them to change us. Christ brings us into his body, not because we are easy to love, but because we need grace through one another. We need people who speak truth in love and walk with us when we are weak. Receive relationships today as both gift and responsibility. Do not close your heart to correction or your eyes to another's suffering. The Spirit makes the church a place where Christ's mercy becomes visible. Prayer Father who cares for your children, I praise you because you give brothers and sisters as instruments of grace. Forgive me for treating relationships as tools for my own happiness. Thank you for Jesus Christ, who brought me into his body. Holy Spirit, help me receive correction, encourage others, and love the church faithfully. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
