The Story

We are living between what God has already accomplished and what still awaits fulfillment. Jesus Christ has died and been raised from the dead to save us, and the Holy Spirit already dwells in believers, but the struggle against sin is not yet over. In our hearts, there is always a spiritual war going on, a war between faith and doubt, between obedience and rebellion, between worry and trust, and the crucial question that often arises is, will God really provide for us? When we encounter difficulties or see our own weaknesses, we may fear that we are not enough. We may doubt whether we have sufficient strength, whether we have enough of what is necessary, and whether God is truly with us. But God reminds us that He has not abandoned His people. He has given us Jesus Christ, the greatest gift of all. So we can trust that He will give us the blessings we need for today. Our faithful Father, who provides for all things, I praise you, because you do not abandon your children and give us what we need at the right time. Please forgive me when I look at my weakness more than your promise. Thank you, Jesus Christ, who has helped me to be saved, and thank you that the Holy Spirit dwells in me. Please help me to believe that the greatest Giver of blessings will also give me the necessary blessings for today, praying in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
