The Story

Life in a world fallen into sin is not easy. For this reason, God did not design the Christian life for us to walk alone. We are called to be one body in Jesus and are established to be instruments of grace to one another. But we often think that the church is just a place we attend or a certain religious activity. We don't want anyone to know us too deeply, so we keep up a good image and keep our relationships at a safe distance. But what is not revealed cannot be helped. God uses a community centered on Christ to warn us, protect us, comfort us, and bring us back to Him. The church community is therefore not a minor option, but a spiritual necessity. The love and grace of Jesus are manifested in our lives through His body, which is the church. Father, who is love, I praise you because you called me into the body of Christ and gave me the benefit through your community. Please forgive me when I think I can live the spiritual life on my own or refuse to open up in relationships. Thank you, Jesus Christ, who has made me a part of His body. May the Holy Spirit open my heart to receive and share the blessings in the community of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
