The Story

We often think that hope comes when circumstances change, when problems are solved, or when we see clear evidence that everything will get better. But the hope that the Bible teaches does not begin with our surroundings. The true hope is one person, and His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus came to this world, faced what we face, and overcame what destroys us, to save us from destruction. Those who are in Christ are not hopeless. Our problems are not a lack of hope, but rather not seeing the hope that God has given us. We may not see the inheritance and the great power that we have received in Christ. Therefore, we must ask God to open the eyes of our hearts, and when the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to see the gospel, we will find that even in today's suffering, hope in Christ is a true and sufficient hope. Our Father, our hope, we praise you because you give us a firm hope in Jesus Christ. Forgive us when we look at the present situation and live like people without hope. I thank Jesus Christ, the true hope of my soul, that the Holy Spirit may open my eyes to see the inheritance, the blessings, and the power that are in Christ, and that I may live in hope today, praying in the name of Jesus Christ.
