God who is not weak is our strength.

Life in a world fallen into sin can easily exhaust us. Struggling with sin, taking care of family, loving and forgiving others, and being responsible each day all weaken our hearts and bodies. Sometimes, even living the Christian life seems difficult and burdensome. But our hope is in God who never grows weary. The Scripture teaches that our help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth. He does not grow tired or fall asleep, but He watches over His people at all times. We are weak and easily tired, but God is never weary. We need rest, but His care never ceases. He upholds all His people, from now until eternity. Therefore, when we are weary, do not try to squeeze more strength from ourselves, but rather run to God, our Keeper, who never slumbers, and Jesus Christ, our Savior, who is our strength today. Father, who never slumbers or sleeps, I praise you because you always watch over and sustain your children. Please forgive me when I am tired and try to rely on my own strength more than on you. Thank you, Jesus Christ, who keeps me in His favor. May the Holy Spirit revive my spirit and help me to trust in God who never falters, praying in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
