The Story

Today the gospel invites us to consider rescued from myself. This truth sheds light on our thoughts, loves, and ordinary choices. Our hearts often lean toward a false refuge when God’s truth crosses our desires. We need grace that reaches the root of the heart, not merely advice. Jesus Christ came to rescue people who cannot rescue themselves. He bore our sin, opened the way to the Father, and gives the Spirit so we june walk in a new way. So receive this truth with humility today. Let grace lead you into confession, trust, and one concrete act of obedience. Prayer Father, praise you for your mercy. Forgive me for trusting false refuges more than your promises. Thank you for Christ, my righteousness and hope. Holy Spirit, lead me into humble obedience today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
