The Story

Today the gospel calls us to consider greater glory rescues. This truth reaches ordinary life, shaping how we love, fear, hope, and choose. Our hearts often run toward a false refuge when life does not go our way. We may use spiritual words while fear, control, or old pain quietly leads us. Jesus Christ came to rescue us from the sin beneath our circumstances. At the cross we see both the truth about our need and the depth of God’s mercy. So receive this truth with humility today. Let grace lead you into confession, trust, and one concrete act of obedience. Prayer Father, praise you for your mercy. Forgive me for trusting false refuges more than your promises. Thank you for Christ, my righteousness and hope. Holy Spirit, lead me into humble obedience today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
